What is a UTR
Number?
A UTR (Unique Transaction
Reference) is a 12-digit number generated for every UPI
payment to uniquely verify your transaction.
Where to
find it on UPI
apps:
- Google Pay: Tap the
payment in Transaction history. Look for
UPI transaction ID (starts with 3, 4, or 5).
- PhonePe: Tap the
payment in your History. Look for the
12-digit UTR number.
- Paytm: Open the
transaction details in Balance & History.
Look for UPI Ref No.
- Other Apps (BHIM, Mobikwik, etc):
View details in transaction history and look for
UPI Ref No or Reference ID or
Transaction ID.
